Interview with Jill Baedke, Part II

In this second part of our two-part podcast interview, we discuss nurturing and supporting teachers to use technology, the upcoming VSTE election for new board members, and Jill’s prediction for what might be ahead, in a so-called “Web 3.0.”

Jill currently serves on the VSTE Board of Directors. She works for Henrico County Public Schools in central Virginia at 3 elementary schools. She is also an adjunct instructor with online courses through Virginia Commonwealth University. Many know her in Virginia through her publication of articles in the VSTE Journal, presentations at VSTE, and through her leadership as a teacher-educator.

Interview with Jill Baedke, Part I

John interviews Mrs. Jill Baedke, a long-time VSTE member, and currently an instructional technology resource teacher (ITRT) in Henrico County. Jill has also been an adjunct instructor for Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) for a number of years, sharing her love and enthusiasm for using digital technologies in schools with other educators.

In this first part of our two-part podcast interview, we discuss Jill’s history with VSTE, and the importance of integrating free, Web 2.0 technologies into instruction.
